பிரதம மந்திரி ஸ்வஸ்திய சுராக்ஷ திட்டம்

ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளக்கூடிய/ நம்பகமான மூன்றாம் நிலை சுகாதார சேவைகள் கிடைப்பதில் பிராந்திய ஏற்றத்தாழ்வுகளை சரி செய்வதோடு நாட்டில் மருத்துவ கல்வி வசதிகளை மேம்படுத்துவதையும் நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டு 2003 இல் PMSSY தொடங்கப்பட்டது.

PMSSY ஐ செயல்படுத்துவது – சுகாதார மற்றும் குடும்ப நல அமைச்சகம்
இது இரண்டு கூறுகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளது:

புதிய எய்ம்ஸ் (அகில இந்திய மருத்துவ அறிவியல் நிறுவனம்) நிறுவுதல்.

பல மாநிலங்களில் உள்ள அரசு மருத்துவக் கல்லூரிகள் மேம்படுத்துதல்.

ஒவ்வொரு மருத்துவ கல்லூரி நிறுவனத்தையும் மேம்படுத்துவதற்கான திட்ட செலவுகளை மத்திய மற்றும் மாநில அரசுகள் பிரித்து செலவு செய்யும்.

About PMSSY:

PMSSY was launched in 2003 with the goal of addressing regional disparities in the availability of affordable/reliable tertiary healthcare services as well as improving medical education facilities in the country.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is in charge of implementing the PMSSY.
It has two components:
-
Establishing a new AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences).
-
Government medical colleges in many states are being upgraded.
-
The Centre and the state split the project costs for upgrading each medical college institution.
